Once you complete your census you can print or take a picture of your confirmation code.
Once the England Fitness Center and England Library reopen, you will be able to bring in the
Printed or picture of the confirmation code to get a drawing for the tv. One per address.

What is the Census?

The US Constitution requires a Population count of all people living in USA every 10 years.
YOU BEING COUNTED IN THE CENSUS 2020 IS VERY IMPORTANT TO YOU, YOUR TOWN, YOUR SCHOOL AND YOUR COMMUNITY! It helps your community obtain federal funds that is used to help provide services to you and all of your community! Helps us get Community Grants Ensures that YOUR community keeps Police and Fire Protection Helps with Street Planning and Maintenance Helps our community School program Maintains Legislative Districts and so very much more!

 

How is the information used:

The information is used to determine how many federal dollars each state, county and city get to provide services to the people that live there? The funds will be distributed, our population decides on how much of the funds England will receive. If England citizens don’t enroll the funds will be sent to places that the citizens did fill out the census.

YOUR PARTICIPATION WILL HAVE AN EFFECT ON ENGLAND FOR 10 YEARS!
THIS IS WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO FILL OUT YOUR CENSUS

IF ONLY 65% of the People in England fill out the Census , then England only gets 65% of the Federal dollars they could have received, however, the City will still have to provide services for all 100% of it population on the decreased revenue they received. It is very hard to provide services to 100% on 65% of the revenue. This limits your community on what it can provide. England provides police protection, fire protection and so many services that many other rural towns have lost. They lost these services because the Census population count was low.
PLEASE COMMIT TO BE COUNTED IN 2020 CENSUS!

The size of the town determines if businesses will come to England. If we can get everyone counted we will have a better opportunity to attract businesses which will bring Jobs.
This is all true also on the state of Arkansas level. The more that self-report and turn in their census on time, the more federal fund dollars that is received to provide programs, services etc.

YOU COUNT, WE ALL COUNT! IN THE LAST CENSUS ONLY 64% of ENGLAND RESIDENTS SELF REPORTED. THIS HAS HURT ENGLAND FOR 10 YEARS AS ENGLAND HAS HAD TO SERVICE 100% OF THE COMMUNITY ON THAT LIMITED REVENUE. PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR CENSUS!
